Taliban District Governor Detained In Takhar
KABUL: (MEP) – A so-called governor of the Taliban has been detained along with his deputy in northeastern province of Takhar, National Directorate of Security (NDS) said.
The source added Muhammad Fazel was Taliban’s district governor for Chah-Aab district of Takhar and was appointed by the group to disrupt the elections.
The detained militants confessed to their crimes during the initial investigations.
