Taliban Shot Dead 75-Year-Old Man In Faryab

MEP: A 75-year-old man has brutally executed by armed Taliban in Almar district of Faryab province because his nephew was a member of the popular uprising.

Abdul Karim Youresh, a spokesman for Faryab police chief said the incident occurred last night in the village of Qara Tana.

The man was shot dead inside his farm, he added.

Meanwhile, Faryab police spokesman said a 25-year-old man was arrested for the murder of his stepmother.

Youresh noted Amanullah, a resident of Pashtun Kot District had killed his stepmother last year has been arrested by police on Saturday.

Investigations from the murderer started.

The report comes as last week Faryab police have arrested a man on charges of killing his mother and sister in Maimana city.
