Trump Claims Millions Voted Illegally In Presidential Elections
MEP: US President-elect Donald Trump has said on Sunday that “millions of people” voted illegally for Hillary Clinton in the Nov. 8 election and otherwise he would have won the popular vote. However, he did not provided any evidence of widespread voter fraud.
Trump, who himself implied that he would not concede the election during the campaign if he had lost, used his Twitter account to declare that “Nothing will change.” He also reiterated that Clinton had already conceded the election.
The report comes after the camp of Democratic rival Hillary Clinton said it would support a vote recount in Wisconsin initiated by a Green Party candidate.
Trump won the Electoral College and thus the White House, but the Democratic nominee leads him in the popular vote by about two million ballots.
“In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally,” Trump tweeted.

The U.S. presidential race is decided by the Electoral College, based on a tally of wins from the state-by-state contests, rather than by the national vote. Trump has surpassed the 270 electoral votes needed to win the White House.
The Electoral College results are expected to be finalized on Dec. 19. Trump takes office on Jan. 20.
Mr Trump also alleged “serious voter fraud” in Virginia, New Hampshire and California – states won by Mrs Clinton – accusing US media of not reporting on that issue.
