Two Female Suicide Bombers Killed In Want Waigal
MEP: The Afghan security forces have killed two female suicide bombers equipped with suicide bombing vests in an operation in Want Waigal district of eastern Nuristan province.
A statement by Ministry of Defence said Monday the two young girls were among 27 killed and 31 others were wounded during the same operations.
Motive behind the cases of the two female suicide bombers were not cleared but it is said that their bodies remained in the area.
According to the statement, the security situation in the district is normal.
The armed Taliban have not yet commented on the report.
