UNAMA confirmed Mirza Olang incident

United Nation Assistance Mission in Afghanistan(UNAMA) confirmed civilian slaughtering in Mirza Olang area of Sayad city in Sar-e Pul province.

United Nation Assistance Mission in Afghanistan(UNAMA) confirmed civilian slaughtering in Mirza Olang area of Sayad city in Sar-e Pul province.

Based on Human Right findings regarding Mirza Olang incident, United Nation Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) confirmed that 36 civilian have been killed there.

The findings released today say Taliban and Daesh have slaughtered the civilians.

According to UNAMA finding most of those were killed in Mirza Olang are civilians including children and women.

Todamichi Yamamoto, the United Nations Special Representative for Afghanistan condemning the slaughter called for bringing the perpetrators to court by government.

Mirza Olang was occupied by Taliban three weeks ago and later slaughtering of 52 of local residents by Taliban were reported.

Taliban, however, rejecting the report, announced they had killed some police force and public uprising.

Then, Daesh took the responsibility of killing 52 civilians.
