Unknown Gunmen Attack ANA Base in Kapisa

KABUL: (MEP) – A group of five unknown gunmen attacked the National Army Base (NAB) in Tagab district of Kapisa province early Monday, TOLO news reported.

Local officials said that one Afghan soldier was killed and three others severely injured during a two hour long gun battle with the insurgents.

According to reports, a suicide attacker detonated his explosives laden car in front of the NAB following which five other bombers started firing indiscriminately at the Forces.

Khwaja FaqirAhmad Sediqi, Kapisa Police chief, confirmed that all the insurgents have been shot dead and the situation is under control.
