25 killed and wounded in the Kabul-Jalalabad Highway

KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 7 people were killed and 18 others were injured following a traffic accident on Kabul-Jalalabad highway early Thursday.

According to police officers, the incident took place in Naghlo area of Sarobi district around 7:00 local time after three vehicles had a collision.

The officials further added that four women and a child were also among those killed and the injured passengers were taken to the nearest hospital for treatment.

The officials said high speed and reckless driving by one of the vehicles was the main reason behind today’s deadly traffic accident.

However officials in Sarobi district hospital have said that the dead bodies of at least eight people were taken to the hospital along with 21 others who were wounded in the accident.
