China ready to help Badakhshan landslide victims
KABUL: (MEP) – China in a historic attempt has asked Kabul to send list of necessities for landslide victims of northeastern Badakhshan province.
Chinese ambassador to Kabul, Deng Xijun, said China was ready to provide any kind of aid including clothes and other necessities to Badakhshan landslide victims.
The ambassador told this in a meeting with Irshad Ahmadi, the political deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) on Sunday.
He said the Chinese government and people were deeply grieved over the landslide in Argo district of Badakhshan province.
“Chinese government is ready to provide any kind of aid to people hit by landslide in Badakhshan. The Afghan government should only prepare the list and specify the time of receiving the aid,” he added.
The MoFA said in a statement that would prepare a list in collaboration with related organs and would send it to the China Embassy in Kabul.
