Explosion in Kunduz Killed 9 Including Women
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least six people including two women were killed as a result of a blast in northern Kunduz province on Monday afternoon.
According to local security officials, the incident took place around 4:00 pm in Dasht-e-Archi district after a remote-controlled improvised explosive device was exploded.
Provincial police spokesman Sarwar Hussaini said the IED was planted in a motorcycle and was blown up while the local residents were busy with shopping.
He said added civilians were also wounded and were taken to the nearby hospital.
No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility behind the attack so far.
