Explosion Rocks Kote Sangi Area of Kabul City
KABUL: (Middle East Press) As a result of a blast in Kote Sangi area in district of five of Kabul city one civilian was killed and another injured early Tuesday morning, local officials said.
The officials further added, there are no reports on how the explosion occurred, adding that the police have started investigations.
No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility behind the attack so far.
The blast comes a day after, when one civilian was killed and three others, including two foreign residents, were injured in a suicide attack at Green Village a residential compound for NATO contractors in Kabul City early Monday.
The incident took place in Qabilby area of Kabul at about 7 a.m. when a suicide bomber blown up his explosive near two vehicles at Green Village, according to security officials.
