Islamabad builds fence across border with Afghanistan

According to Kabul’s continuing opposition, Islamabad has said that it has begun embarking on a fence across the border with Afghanistan, which will do more to ensure security.

The Pakistani army has said the process will take place across the border with Afghanistan.

The Army statement adds that security and prospect shells are also being built along the common border with Afghanistan to prevent terrorists from crossing the border.

According to the statement, the enclosure was initially launched from Bajaur, Mahmad and Khaybar agency and the more insecure areas are included earlier this year.

The report comes as Kabul has repeatedly opposed this trend and has said that fence would not have any effect on reducing insecurity until Islamabad cooperates honestly in combating terrorism.
