Nangarhar Residents Protest In Response To Pakistan’s Rocket Attacks
MEP: Hundreds of residents of Lal Puri district of Nangarhar province in response to rocket attacks by Pakistan on Afghan soil, began to protest.
Attaullah Khogyani, Nangarhar governor’s spokesman told the Middle East Press, the protest started from today’s morning (February 2).
According to him, in this protest different classes attended and have widely condemned the Pakistani rocket attacks inside Afghanistan territories.
Khogyani stated that as a result of protest, the highway of Jalalabad – Torkham was blocked for several hours.
Protesters carrying on fabrics on which it is written “Down with Pakistan”, called for a halt to its rocket attacks in Afghanistan as well as denouncing the intervention of the country’s intelligence agency into Afghanistan’s affairs.
The report comes as during the past few days, Pakistan’s rocket attacks on border areas of Afghanistan have begun which also led to major damages and casualties.
