Pakistan’s Ambassador In Kabul Once Again Summoned To Foreign Ministry
MEP: Sayed Abrar Hussain, Pakistan’s ambassador in Kabul on Sunday (February 26) once again was summoned to the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
Pakistan’s ambassador was summoned by Naseer Ahmed Andesha, Deputy State Department’s Bureau of Resources for the recent artillery attacks of Pakistan into the regions of Shangri of Sarkano district of Kunar and Ghoshta of eastern Nangarhar province.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the past few days of Pakistan’s continued artillery rocket attacks in the East of the country have caused a fire in a forest in the district of Kunar province as well as displacing scores of civilians in the cold season.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the continuing military attacks with Mr Hussain and demanded explanations in this case.
He also expressed deep concern over the recent Pakistani troop movements in Ghazni’s camp area Mahmand Aency near Durand Line, arrests and harassment of a large number of Afghan refugees in all states of the country and closing the gates of the Torkham and Chaman to the Afghan pedestrians and traders, and called for the liberation of Afghan nationals.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani ambassador in Kabul said that recent moves by the Pakistani military, is the country’s actions have been launched against terrorists and extremist activities.
He added that would discuss the Afghanistan’s protests and concerns with the authorities.
