Police seizes 300 kilograms of ammonium nitrate in Nangarhar

Anti-drug police in eastern Nangarhar province, has discovered 300 kilograms of ammonium nitrate from Bati-kot district of the province.

Ataullah Khogyani, a spokesman for the governor of Nangarhar told the Middle East Press the products were obtained from a farm house.

He said the anti-drug Administration police found 300 kilograms of ammonium nitrate and other destruction materials in the operation.

Nangarhar governor’s spokesman added that the materials had been kept by the opposition aimed at use in terrorist acts.

Khogyani did not provide details on whether anyone was arrested in connection with the case.
