Women And Childen Killed, Wounded In Farah Airstrike
MEP: The Afghan National Security Forces have launched an airstrike in Bala Boluk district of Farah province on Friday in which at least seven civilians were killed and 22 others, local and hospital sources said.
Officials in a local hospital said they have received 22 injured people who are under treatment.
Meanwhile, the officials confirmed to local media that children and women were among those killed and wounded in the airstrike.
According to sources, the attack occurred when two army helicopters bombed a civilians’ convey when they were evacuating their area due to the military operation which is ongoing in parts of the district for past two days.
No further details were released on the report and the government officials did not comment on the report so far.
