US Failed To Submit Any Evidence Of Major Threat
MEP: The entry of people coming to the United States of America from seven Islamic countries was banned for 90 days right after President Donald Trump came into power.
One of the attorneys from Washington had declared this ban unconstitutional. On Thursday, an appeal court said that the government has failed to submit any evidence of major threat to the court. Due to lack of evidence, there is no point of looking into accepting the ban, the court asserted.
The Trump government is still insisting on imposing the ban and Mr. Trump is very certain that they will succeed in imposing the ban. He told the press that they would win this fight, be it delayed.
The US President has also said Friday that he is considering a new executive order to ban citizens of certain countries from travelling to the country though he expressed confidence that he will win the legal battle over the immigration ban on nationals from seven Muslim-majority countries.
Trump made the remarks aboard Air Force One on his way to Florida, after his administration suggested it would not ask the Supreme Court to review a federal appeals court decision that keeps the travel ban frozen.
