Italian Defense Minister In Herat Visiting Her Country’s Troops

MEP: Roberta Pinotti, Italian Defence Minister during a visit in Afghanistan’s Herat, met with her country’s troops and local officials.

Mrs Pinotti arrived in Herat on Wednesday morning in an unannounced trip.

Italian defense minister, while meeting with local officials in western Herat province, emphasized on its country’s commitment to develop the infrastructure of the airport in Herat, Asfilat road of Herat and Chisht Sharif.

There are 827 Italian troops in the cities of Kabul and Herat who are under NATO mission.
