Saudi Warplanes Kill 35 Civilians In Yemen
MEP: At least 35 civilians were killed and scores more injured in an airstrike conducted by Saudi Arabia in Hudaydah province of western Yemen, PressTV reported.
The strikes hit a busy market place in Hawak district late on Wednesday.
The Kingdom also pounded residential areas earlier in the day in the northwestern province of Sa’ada, leaving many people killed and injured.
Meanwhile, Yemeni forces have carried out a retaliatory missile attack on a Saudi military base in the kingdom’s southern Najran region.
However, there are reports regarding the casualties.
More than 10,000 people have been killed and thousands of others wounded in Saudi Arabia’s aggression pounding Yemen since March 2015, according to UN. The offensive was launched to reinstate Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a Saudi ally who has resigned as Yemen’s president.
